Enduring Tongues

As reported by Ethnologue, of the 175 indigenous languages in the Philippines, 35 are classified as endangered (31 are threatened and 4 are shifting). Another 11 are on the verge of extinction (with 5 considered moribund, 5 nearly extinct, and 1 dormant), and 2 have already become extinct.

Enduring Tongues hopes to contribute in cultural preservation and revitalization by acting as a open library and resource platform for languages in critical condition.

Education

Enduring Tongues offers concept books designed to introduce and teach fundamental concepts so as to educate and promote active usage, particularly amongst the younger generations.

Enduring Tongues wishes to foster national appreciation for these languages and raise awareness of the ongoing language crisis in order to encourage others to take action.
